Outdoor Wedding Venue Los Angeles: Costs and Tips

The best outdoor wedding venue in Los Angeles is one that gives you a real ceremony spot, a plan for rain and heat, and a clear, all-in price before you fall in love. For a private celebration of up to 100 guests, our grounds at The Enchanted Manor in Valley Village offer a waterfall ceremony ledge, a lagoon-style pool and fairy-lit trees, with events starting at $4,200 for up to 50 guests.

What to look for in an outdoor wedding venue in Los Angeles

Los Angeles weather is kind, but outdoor venues still differ a great deal. Before you tour, make a short list of what matters for your day:

  • A ceremony spot that photographs well. Look for a natural backdrop, not just an open lawn.
  • Guest comfort. Shade, heaters for the evening, restrooms and parking all affect how your guests remember the day.
  • Noise and curfew. Many neighbourhood venues need to end early, so check the finish time before you plan the evening.
  • Vendor freedom. Some venues require their own caterer and bar. Others let you bring your own, which can change your budget a lot.
  • Total cost. Ask for the full list of fees, not just the rental price.

Walk the venue at the time of day you plan to marry. Light changes everything, and a lawn that glows at five can be harsh at one.

Plan for the weather, not just the photos

Southern California weddings are mostly dry, but outdoor events still need a plan. Evenings can cool quickly, so ask whether the venue has heaters, fire features or a covered patio. In summer, ask where guests can sit in the shade during the ceremony and whether the cocktail hour can move under cover.

Also think about the layout between ceremony and reception. The closer the two are, the less your guests wait, and the easier it is for older relatives to move around. A venue where everything is within a short walk avoids buses, shuttles and long gaps in the schedule.

How much an outdoor wedding venue costs in Los Angeles

Prices vary widely across the city, and it is easy to compare the wrong numbers. A low rental fee can hide separate charges for catering, bar service, tables, chairs, cleaning and staff. A higher fee that includes more can end up cheaper. Always ask what is included, what you must rent separately, and whether you are tied to the venue's caterer or alcohol.

Here is how our pricing works at the manor, so you can compare it with other venues you are touring:

Guest countVenue price
Up to 50 guests$4,200
50 to 75 guests$5,400
75 to 100 guests$6,600
Ceremony onlyFrom $1,500

This is our pricing as of October 2026. Our price covers five hours of event time plus two hours of setup, and a ceremony on the grounds is included. Extra hours are $300 each, and events must end by 10pm.

Bring your own caterer and bar

One of the biggest differences between venues is food and drink. Many Los Angeles venues require you to use their catering and beverage packages, and those add up quickly. At the manor you bring your own caterer and your own liquor and beverages, so there are no costly venue food and beverage packages. Georgia recommends caterers, but you hire your own, and a bartender can work under the caterer's licence.

The thatched gazebo bar has a refrigerator, sink and barbecue, which gives your caterer and bartender a practical place to work. Ask your caterer to visit before you book so they can plan around the space.

Ceremony spots and photo backdrops at the manor

Most couples hold their ceremony on the ledge over the pool beside the waterfall. Others choose the front brick walkway leading to the arched doors, with lanterns lining the path. Either way, the ceremony location is included in the price.

For the rest of the day, the grounds cover more than 18,000 square feet. You will find a saltwater grotto pool with three waterfalls, a lava-rock fire pit, a private patio with an outdoor fireplace, a tri-level deck and trees strung with fairy lights. The pool and spa can be lit in nine colours, so the same spot looks different at sunset and after dark. One guest told us it was hard to believe it was actually Los Angeles, and another called it "an oasis", not a backyard.

Extras, rentals and rules to plan for

Nothing should surprise you after you book, so here are the additional items for a manor event:

  • Cleaning is $300, plus a refundable security deposit of $250.
  • Tables are $8 each and tablecloths are $10 each. Chairs come from an outside vendor, and Georgia shares contacts.
  • Heaters are $75 each, battery lanterns and candles are $2, a microphone rental is $25 and a cooler is $20.
  • One-day event insurance naming Georgia Durante and The Enchanted Manor is required, and it averages $66 to $124.
  • We have a house sound system and a wireless microphone, but no DJs.

Parking is space for twelve to fifteen cars on the cul-de-sac plus open street parking. For events we recommend Uber or Lyft, because valet does not work well here.

Questions to ask every outdoor venue you tour

Whichever venue you choose, a short list of questions saves you from expensive surprises. Ask what the total cost is once rentals, cleaning and insurance are added. Ask what time the music and the event must end, and who is responsible if the schedule runs late. Ask whether you can visit at the time of day you plan to marry, and whether the venue has hosted weddings of your size before.

Ask about the rain plan, the evening temperature and where older guests can sit. Ask who handles setup and teardown, and whether your vendors can visit in advance. Finally, ask what is not allowed, because rules about noise, candles, confetti and music differ from place to place. A venue that answers these clearly and in writing is usually one that runs a smooth day.

Guests, hotels and the rest of the weekend

Many couples have family travelling in. Out-of-town guests get a special rate at The Mariposa hotel, one block away, and the couple can stay in the honeymoon suite at a discount. We are in Valley Village, minutes from the 101 and 405 and easy from Burbank and LAX airports.

Check the date and tour the grounds

The best way to judge an outdoor venue is to stand in it. Call or text (213) 999-3050, or email stuntlady@me.com, to ask about your date and book a visit. Bring your guest count, your caterer's name if you have one, and a rough idea of your timeline, and we will tell you honestly whether the manor fits. As Georgia says, "They come as strangers and leave as friends."
